Friend, family and ally. He understood spoken language, you could call him by clapping your hands twice, followed me anywhere and everywhere, he never ate until you were done dishing for him, he'd never respond when called by a kid... The man, the myth, the legend. Zuma aka Zee. 13 years of great memories, 2004 - 2017. So long buddy, so long. #restinpeace#mydog#mybestfriend 🖖🏾💔🖖🏾
I'm attracted to your soul
The little details that map out this infinite galaxy of the person that you are
And you, you are the perfect imperfection
I could count your flaws but I’d need all the stars to tell you how amazing you are
I soak in this astonishing lustre of your brain And bask in this sunshine you call your life
Your mind is beautiful and your heart’s amazing
Like a breeze dancing through pines, whistling passionately through the gentle skies
You swept right into my life whisking through my soul with every touch humming deeper into the core of my silent heart
Moonlight, just in case I don't make it to heaven,
Know that I found my heaven in you #poetry
Delicate flower, I wouldn't mind being a single strand of your hair, the red lipstick on your luscious lips, the top kissing your skin or a mere pause between heartbeats; long as I am one part of what completes you. #poetry
If I could write my wrongs on a piece of paper, toss it on your door steps, ring the doorbell and disappear. Would you understand that I'm just as broken as the spaces between those heartfelt words? #poetry
She keeps graphic pictures of her heart torn in half in her scathed mind.
The darkness in her nightmares consumes her as she trails deeper into her past.
She kisses you to hide her pain
But the taste of her tears lingers on your lips!
She can't tell you that she loves you
Because then she summons her fears;
Buried in a coffin deep down inside,
Her skeletons wear dresses and dance in the shadows.
That's a thread of her past woven delicately on the scars in her heart.
She flew too close to the sun and burnt her wings.
That's how you knew she's an angel.
That's why you love her.
Not who she is
But who she was and who she could be... #poetry
